A little while ago, I was reading "Pocket full of pennies." The portion i was reading that night talked all about how we must give our entire self's to the Lord. Not just a piece here or a piece there, we must give our self's as a whole. We might want to keep an area of are lives to ourselves as if trying to keep a part of are life's in the darkness or secret But the truth is "Everything that is hidden will become clear, and every secret thing will be made known." Luke 8:17. Sometimes we think that as long as we give God "most" of are time, thoughts and life over all, that He will be pleased with what we do give rather then the little that we keep for our self's. But we will not prosper until we finally give it all up to God.

While i was in Drawing class the next day my teacher began to talk about value. For drawings that are filled in with value it takes a lot of time and work to make a piece of art complete, some times when starting a big project you want to section it off and detail one section to keep as your favorite area of drawing. But when that happens your drawing is never complete and looks awkward and not in sync. "When working with a large canvas, you should work with the entire paper. Don't just chose a area to baby or to keep to itself and define one section making it your own." My teacher informed us. Just as God is our artist, He wants to fill us in, but if we keep sections for our selfs filling them in with our own desires, it ruins the over all beauty of what is trying to be formed.

To me this opened my eyes to how every situation can be turned around to place God in the center of it. Although we were talking about art,, It reminded me of what i had read in the "Pocket full of pennies." We must give our ENTIRE lives over to God, We can not just Keep sections to ourselves other wise the canvas, or body will never be complete. God is in every situation of our lives if we are listening and watching for Him, He is always there. He never fails us. He wants ALL of us. He is the artist and we are the canvas. God wants for us to prosper and grow and work toward are Destiny's and to become complete in Christ!!!!
