Prayer is communication between you and God. There are no certain words that you have to say or number of words you have to meet when you pray. Prayer should come from within your heart. You can pray about anything and our Lord Jesus will hear you and answer you in his timing. A lot of people tend to think that they can pray about something that they really want and they will get it right away and if they dont they wonder why. Everything that we ask for in prayer comes to us only in HIS timing not ours. That is whats hard for some people to understand. But wouldnt you want something only in HIS timing? Because HIS timing is perfect for you. If we do things they way we want to often we wont succeed. Prayer is very special and personal. It can be only between you and God if you choose. Unless you share with others what you prayed for. I pray about many things and for many people. In the end times that we are living in prayer in my opinion is definately needed to go about every day life. Prayer time for me is quiet. I like to go into a quiet room close the door and just focus on God and God only. It is easy to get distracted with our everyday busy lives. I reccomend leaving the cell phone out of the room to prevent you from loosing focus and taking time away from you and God. Mattew 6:6 states this "But when you pray, go into your room close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you." You dont have to pray for many people to see you or to be seen. Make it personal time with you and God only. When was the last time you prayed? Is your prayer life on track? Maybe God misses hearing from you! Make that a goal today! Talk to God! Share with God how your feeling today! He loves you and awaits.
